How it works!
Working alongside Solway Recycling; the leading independent agricultural recyclers in the United Kingdom, we are offering the farmer and grower an easy to use, hassle free method of waste plastics disposal with the added benefit of knowing the waste is genuinely recycled.
Over a period of 18 years, Solway Recycling have developed their patented bin and liner system, which is now being incorporated into the National Farmers Waste Service. By separating plastics and keeping them in liners, the levels of contamination are greatly reduced, in addition there is reduced handling of the waste in the recycling process. In simple terms, it reduces the costs involved; hence making the service we offer the most cost effective for farmers.
We understand the burden of ever-increasing paperwork that farmers are being placed under and so offer a level of service that means everything is taken care of by us. You do not have to worry, the farm will be compliant and there is no administration and form filling to be done once registered.
A simple solution for farmers:
Ordering bins and liners - buy on-line or call to discuss your requirements.
Each bin is supplied with 10 liners.
Filling the liners
Liners are to be filled solely with the agreed streams of plastics, you will be supplied with a laminate explaining this. One stream of plastics/card per liner only
The farmer simply has to ensure that:
• There is no mixing of plastic types
• That spray containers are tripled rinsed
• That foreign objects are not put in the bin
• Once the liner is full it can be stored neatly until collection
• Legislation allows farmers 12 months to dispose of waste plastics

1) Triple Rinsed Spray Containers - include caps & foil seal
2) Silage Bags/Wrap/Netting
